Calexico and Cracker lead Closing night Festival Schedule

Calexico hosts the final night outdoor Solar Stage, on Night Three of the 5th annual HocoFest, Arizona’s solar powered music festival. Starting Friday the 4th with the first AZ Punk Rock reunion Stage and the inaugural Latin Music stage, and continuing through Saturday with the Meat Puppets, John Doe and Exene Cervanka, the final evening will close out the festival in grand style. Upstarts Sleepercar, join local legend Al Perry on the Solar main stage. Al has the marvelous Walter Salas-Humara (who will also be showing his artwork in the lobby) and Phoenix chanteuse Lonna Kelley, joining him for the BBQ.

Next up is a band you may not know yet, Sleepercar. Featuring members from the popular At The Drive In, and hot off a monster tour opening for Coldplay, Jim Ward’s Sleepercar, is one of the country’s best new acts. We’ve purposely sandwiched them between the big boys for maximum exposure.

In the Club, the venerable Cracker will lead our early indoor stage with Australian-via-Los Angeles Songwriter Matt Ellis. Our late night after party is co-hosted by two of our favorites - the love-him-or-hate-him comic Neil Hamburger and the love-him-or-he-will-force-you-to Har Mar Superstar, both making the trip to Tucson exclusively for HocoFest.

As with all the Hocofest nights, tickets are only $10 in advance ($25 for all three days), and sell-outs are extremely likely. If any tickets remain day of show, they will go quickly and we recommend coming early. A sell out is likely.  Advance ticket purchases are highly recommended.
