The annual HoCo Festival at Hotel Congress is a three-day celebration of music that’s become a Labor Day weekend tradition.

The festival’s 2008 lineup included The Meat Puppets, Ned Sutton and the Rabbits, Gentlemen Afterdark, Devil Makes Three, Centro-matic, Golden Boots, Mr. Free and the Satellite Freakout!, Al Perry, The Mother Truckers and lots more.

The festival began as a way to celebrate the historic venue’s 20th anniversary and it has just kept going due to overwhelming response.

This year, 2009, Hocofest has added a national audio conference, known as Potluck Audio Con. This addition will bring musicians, producers, engineers and do it yourself recording enthusiasts together to celebrate Hocofest festivities!

In addition to three nights of live music, this year’s festivities include a record festival selling vinyl albums, record equipment and music memorabilia; an eco fashion show and health/wellness/sustainability expo and a global food fest.  Keep reading for more band lineups and other details.
